This must have been fun to put together and I hope your community have enjoyed seeing their clues in print, as it were. Some amusing surfaces in there and plenty of solid constructions. It's a short one - 20d - that gets my COTD: that is a superb clue and what a time for it to appear with Sinner playing Alcaraz today! 22d is also very neat along with 14a, 16a, 23a, 1d, 2d (cunning), 6d, 7d and 17d. As expected, plenty of innuendo! Thanks. PM

Somewhat of a Proustian rush solving this one! 9a was LOI as I couldn't see for a while what type of clue it was. Sunday night vibes abounding in 14a 16a, 6d, 11d et al. But the adventurous use of technique on 13a, 2d, 20d, 22d make these my picks. Many thanks Martin for creating this wonderful channel and also to all who comprise the ever growing den of nerds.

I forgot how good some of these clues were. Brilliant work all round and great to see it finally published. Can’t wait to start the next one tonight!!

Thanks Martin, and to all your contributors. Great stuff and good fun, with plenty of clever and different approaches to clueing. Glad to see 3d taking centre stage. No surprise I think to highlight 9a, 13a, 20d, 22d as among the best, with some excellent spots in 1a and 18a. Looking forward to the next one...

Well done Foylesider and everyone else on putting this together - what a great idea! Lots of nice clues in here. My favourites were: 1a, 18a, 4d, 7d and 20d. I agree with PM, the latter is excellent, and COTD despite it proving to be an incorrect prediction!

Thanks Martin et al, a fun solve with plenty of super clues - I do agree that 20d is the stand-out, and like others I also particularly appreciated 2d & 13a amongst others. (Given the nature of the puzzle, a little repetition is forgivable, and not *everything* quite hit the mark but all was enjoyable and so I'll refrain from quibbling on this occasion!) Thanks again 🙂

Just had the chance to complete this -- great fun, especially to see inventive clues (and answers) from months ago that I'd long since forgotten. Favs this time around were 10a, 14a, 17a, 19a, 1d, 3d, 4d. Thanks again.
