Nicely done, Gennaro. Hadn't heard of the phrase but didn't stop the enjoyment. Favourites included 12a, 24a, 4d (cotd), and 10d. Had to check the notes for 20a as it seemed like a different device was being used, and 11a was unknown, but nothing wrong with either clue. Thanks!

Thanks Gennaro, this was fun. Got the phrase early on, which helped, especially in the otherwise-tricky NE corner. Some lovely clues for shorter words in particular (which I always find tricky and therefore impressive), like 24a, 21d, 22d - and liked 4d, 10d and 13d among the longer ones.

Very nice! Faves: 4d, 6a (recently revisited), 12a, 18a. Outdid yourself on that Nina! :)

Very nice, Gennaro, thanks. I got off to a very slow start but had a great time once a few answers fell into place. Interesting to see 1d and 16d in the same puzzle and lined up at that. It made me wonder if something was afoot there, in addition to the SI statement, which I'd never heard of but now like very much. Amongst my favs are: 14a, 18a, 6a, 7a, 22d, 24a, 4d. Thanks again (and nice Platypus clue btw).
