In order to use the core features of MyCrossword (setting and sharing crosswords, commenting, voting and tracking your solving history) you will be asked to create a user account and profile. This profile will include the following basic personally identifiable information:

  • Email Address
  • Bio (optional)
  • Location (optional)
  • Bluesky Handle (optional)
  • X Handle (optional)

When you leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form.

You can delete your account at any time. The delete account mechanism will clear all fields against your profile, apart from the username and your profile will no longer be visible. All the crosswords associated with your account will be marked as deleted and will be inaccessible, and all historic comments posted will appear as "[ deleted ]".
