Cryptic crossword No 1,043

26a has the most improbable letter sequence I have ever met! I vaguely knew it but had to Google to spell it.

Good stuff Maya, some tricky words with creative constructions. I particularly liked 1a (clean), 9a (fun), 23a (neat), 1d (nice), 5d (nice, clued this in my latest too, funny when that happens!), 10d (nice def). There are a few parsing I wasn't 100% on and would appreciate annotations if you have them. Thanks for the puzzle!
