Cryptic crossword No 1,105

Hi Libra. What strikes me about this is that there are a lot of good ideas, but many of the clues are really sort of "hints by association" e.g. 10a, 22a, 8d, 15d, 16d, 20d. I'll put some spoilery specifics in a second post but I would recommend having a good read of a document produce by Michael Callagahan (Prolixic) which is on Big Dave's blog, at the bottom of the page with all the Rookie corner puzzles. When I started I found it very informative.
