Cryptic crossword No 1,382

Hi. Ran through this earlier when I was responding to a comment on mine. I thought it was very good with excellent surfaces and clear wordplay, although my ageing muscles groaned at the thought of a 8d. Fonder memories of 27a having had a day trip on a catamaran from Vienna. 9a did flummox me even with the crossers. Not totally sold on follow = the first word, but Chambers seems to support it. I guess many solvers would think this on the easy side, but for me it was fine. Thanks. Keith B
