Cryptic crossword No 1,460

Thought there some terrific clues in this crossword. 27, 4, 6 & 11 particularly. I liked how there were clues that could get you in to it, with few write-ins and then they got more difficult, but without obscure words and iffy definitions that stretch the meaning of words. I would say that the wording (I think people call it the surface?) of a couple were slightly clunky:13dn (which I still liked) and 14.
