Nice and smooth for me! 17d is brilliant and delightful.

I enjoyed this! Particularly taken with 1d! Appreciated the annotations: I had no idea (pardon my ignorance!) that 'bono' means 'close to the edge'! Thanks for the fun.

Thanks martwine, relatively gentle fun ... my faves were 9a (though think it needs to start eg "She..." to keep right part of speech), 13a, 16a, 18a, 20a, 1d & 21d. Spoilers ...

Some lovely stuff here, my favourites being 11a, 18a, 20a, 1d, 6d. I agree with Fez and PostMark's criticism of 17d; I guess it's a bit of a Marmite clue in that if you have the relevant GK (as Mallimack had) you will be delighted with it irrespective of technical issues. I don't, so wasn't. 11a is an unfamiliar word but with very clear wordplay, so fine; 24a, which I didn't get, is an unfamiliar word with very difficult wordplay. More satisfying for the setter than the solver, I suggest.

Very good fun. I particularly enjoyed 4d 8a 19a 21d 1d 5d and 17d. Thanks!
