Cryptic crossword No 1,775

I thought this was really great. An easy fill for me, largely due to generous definitions, but the surfaces are all shiny clean with a fair sprinkling of foxy tricks. 18D was my top favourite, but I liked many, including 1A, 21A, 25A, 27A, 2D, 7D, 19D, 24D. 17A was my last in and definitely the toughest clue, fair but at a higher level of wordplay than the rest.

Great puzzle as usual. Everything was my favourite but especially enjoyed 10a. Thanks!
