Cryptic crossword No 181

I don’t understand how 20a works or where the definition is in 20a (annotated solutions are useful here). “Struggled” in 11a is a marked understatement! And in 30a, the two mustelids are not the same. But overall, good fun and 32a and 7d particularly good.
