Some lovely stuff here. Delightful theme, and 21a / 15a, 26a / 16a, 1a, 18d, 13d, 24a. Not sure I understand 3d, 23d, or the indicators for 8a and 6d - and does 27a have an extra letter in the fodder? Nevertheless, very enjoyable.

Hi Magnolia, many thanks for the feedback. And you are right about 27ac, I’ve amended that clue. Good point about the container indicators. I will provide annotated solutions in future. But for now 3d refers to the Old (Bill) Bailey and 23d refers to sundowner.

Excellent theme! I live under a rock so I didn't know 27a (which I eventually half-guessed from the wordplay) or 26a/16a (which I gave up on and hit Reveal). Can't quite parse 8a, 5d or 6d. I'll put some more spoily thoughts in a reply to this comment. My favourites were 11a and 19a. Thank you!

Hello - as someone who has wasted much of my life watching TV I should have got more of these but ended up revealing many of them. Well done on fitting so many themed words. I was entering the name of a pacific island in 6a before seeing there was a problem, was I falling into a cunningly laid trap?
