Cryptic crossword No 2,098

Does 18a have a typo? Sorry - am enjoying so far thank you but can’t read the surface to make sense so wondered if there is something not quite right?

Very nice Iguess! Lots of lovely clues there, my favourites were 8a, 10a, 18a, 21a, 5d, 13d and 17d (though I did have to reveal that one). I agree 18a has a typo - I think it should be something like 'What Musk might need to do to run...'

I enjoyed this, Iguess. There were some properly difficult clues, I thought, and I had to reveal a few, but lots to enjoy. Favourites 10a, 17a, 21a, 3d, 5d, 7d. Minor quibbles in reply...

Thanks for this, Iguess. I've been tied up putting together one of my own this week so very little time to solve. I've opened this one several times but only really got round to giving it proper attention this afternoon. Some nice cluing in here with 10a, 18a, 23a, 3d, 7d, 14d and 17d earning my ticks. Thanks. PM
