Cryptic crossword No 2,233

Chewy but gettable! The two fish were both new to me as was 15D, but I like learning. I thought the state switch technique was neat but seeing it twice a little surprising. 17A and 23A were my faves.

A good crossword that initially looked pretty easy but the SW corner held me up. FOI 9d, LOI 6d. Favourites 17a, 23a and 15d. Thanks.
