Thanks Heron, a well-worked theme nicely done. My favourites were 15a and 14d.

Somewhat belatedly, welcome to the site Heron. I did this a couple of days ago and realised this morning that I had not commented. If this is your first, crossword, it bodes well for the future with good ideas and some nice constructions.. Plenty that I liked with faves including 1a, 10a, 11a, 25a, 3d, 4d, 14d, 20d and 24d.
