Cryptic crossword No 2,520

Well once I spotted that your setter name is a near-anagram of mine, I had to give this a go 😆 and I do like a puzzle with a special instruction and an extra layer of trickery so this was very much up my street. Some super constructions and coherent surfaces here. Liked: 11a, 24a, 25a, 26a, 2d and 3d. A few minor observations in the reply. I've noticed that you've done a few puzzles already so will go back and look at your others 👍
