Cryptic crossword No 2,565

Had fun completing my second ever puzzle on this site! Caught out by a couple of US spellings being a Brit myself but never mind. Amongst others enjoyed 3d, 20a and the clever repeated use of Stradivarius in 24a and 11d. I wonder if using a synonym for the inserted words in 17a and 25a would make the clues a bit more devious but I realise that would ruin the surface. Thank you!
