Thanks Orinoco, and welcome to MyC. Some nice ideas and well-worked clues here, although quite tough in places. 12a, 22a, 1d, 4d and 13d my favourites. The annotated solutions helped considerably in underatanding your thinking on some clues which I found difficult to parse. I'll offer some observations in reply later this evening...
