Great puzzle and current too (6 days to go!) As soon as I got 1d and so the theme, the other related answers came easily. Wholly enjoyable particularly 23a, 24a, 5d and 15d, thank you.

Another fun one, I figured out the hidden theme surprisingly early since I am only vaguely aware of them. 7a and 19a are great surfaces. Other faves: 6a,23a,4d,17d

Very enjoyable, I was kicking myself for not getting 26a, since I got the theme early on. Fav's were 5d and 23a. Thanks.

Great puzzle with some excellent surfaces. I got 22,2d early which gave me an idea what to look for for the themed clues but I don't follow the support and confess I had to google 1D 3D and 19A, although the wordplay was fair. 7a, 14a and 23a were my favourites.
