Thanks Mustelid & welcome to MyC. I thought this was a very good crossword given that it's your first on this site. My favourites included 9a, 20a, 5d, 7d, and 18d. I like the conciseness of many of your clues. More in reply.

Thank you Mustelid for a very pleasant and enjoyable crossword. I echo pretty much all that Gennaro has said. For a first on this site, this really is a most accomplished puzzle. I had ticks against 16a, 5d,12d, 14d, 15d, 17d and 18d, and I'd have had one against 21a but for the technical flaw Gennaro mentions in comments. Gennaro has already flagged up all the criticisms I'd have wished to make. One minor observation in comment.
