Cryptic crossword No 3,064

I think 23d in 27a needs to be 23a? Otherwise, a lot to enjoy and a nicely worked theme which I had enough GK to complete. 1a, 5a and 15d my podium. Slightly awkward to have both 6d and 28a in the grid but it is the price one occasionally pays when theming. Thanks. PM
