Hope you enjoy this one. Took me a few days to write and tweak the clues, but there may be a few definitions that stretch the rules a tiny bit.

Hello and welcome on board. As a relative newbie myself I’d say you’ve made a better start than I did! I particularly appreciated 13a, 15a, 19a, 20a (very smart!), 25a, 5d (when I finally got it), 9d and 20d. I like the imaginative and often very clever constructions in your clueing. Yes, I do think some ‘rules’ were stretched, but I’m sure you have what it takes to hone your skills further. More below…
