Cryptic crossword No 3,271

As always, very open to constructive criticism! This is my first attempt at a themed puzzle, with a bit of a self-indulgent theme. Especially keen on feedback on the themed clues as I do feel some of them could be better, but I didn't want to scrap them entirely and lose out on some themed answers. Advice on grid setting would also be appreciated to avoid such pitfalls!

Hi Dynamite. I see it was 2 days ago you were asking for feedback and you must be a tad frustrated! I thought this was a largely solid puzzle. Sure, some eyebrow raises, but nothing I'd consider outrageous. You've asked for advice on grid setting: not sure why tbh. None of the words you've incorporated are horrible, either to meet as solver or to clue as setter. 9 themers (one of them two words) is OK - by no means saturated. Likes inc 10a, 14a, 19a, 21a, 28a, 3d, 6d, 13d, 15d, 18d, 22d.
