Always relish the prospect of a Scruffy submission.

Cracking!! Took me a while but yay!!

Thanks for that, Scruffy, I enjoyed that and managed most of it. Favourites included 11a, 20a, 22a, 8d & 15d. I couldn't parse 12a or 29a (but admired the superb surface of the latter in particular).

Once again, chewy but rewarding! Cracking start with 1a, neat trick in 11a and more gooduns in 19a, 27a, 3d, 7d, 8d, & 17d. Thanks for the fun. Few thoughts below…
