Cryptic crossword No 3,405

Hello Lepus and welcome to MyC. I know you uploaded a few recently but not for solving. I did the last of those and enjoyed it and this one likewise. Both very well clued indeed - though with your pedigree, that is not surprising at all! Lots of fun constructions in here and some absolutely cracking surfaces.
