Cryptic crossword No 3,412

Where is everyone? Maybe resolving 1a/28a in their own way? Anyway, I’m back because I’m enjoying getting on your wavelength. My first act was to locate and solve 15a, and almost everything else followed relatively smoothly. I was delighted by the new-to-me construction in 12a. I didn’t and don’t get the flight to Scotland in 6d. Overall faves: 1a/28a, 12a, 15a, 27a, 2d, 5d, 21d, 24d. Thanks!
