Cryptic crossword No 3,510

Thanks Orinoco. Enjoyed 23a, 4d, and 8a especially. DNF for me, though- a few clues were not on my wavelength (or vice versa. I had one or two issues- see attached. Cheers

Hi Orinoco, thanks for an entertaining start to the day. No problem with the naughty bits as the surfaces were nicely polished! My standout clues: 12a, 22a, 1d, 6d, 16d, 21d. Fwiw I first had a different bird in 18d which gave me a credible but maybe not so Canadian green. I agreed with Primus re 3d but I see you’ve changed that now. Cheers.

Thank you for this! Faves 9a, 10a and 6d, also love the definition in 8d. I struggled a bit with some other definitions, e.g. 7a, 3d, 19d, all seemed a little distant, I didn't feel satisfying click. Re "that's" for IE: perhaps widely used (?), but personally I think it needs to be "that is". Nice puzzle, many thanks again!
