Cryptic crossword No 3,531

Thanks Podger for a very entertaining puzzle with its well-worked theme. My favourites were 5a (for the clever golf allusion), 11a, 27a, 6d and 19a. It took a while to parse 30a as I wasn't familiar with the abbreviation for the law officer and I needed your notes to parse 8d which I managed only with the aid of the crossers. I wasn't sure about the use of 'on' in 14a as a container indicator, though?
