Cryptic crossword No 401

I still struggle with some of the leaps you require the solver to make Haven. (We're all guilty of that from time to time though). I thought several clues were excellent. Definite ticks for 9A, 10A, 14A and 6D ( I didn't at first understand the definition there, so I learnt something new from your annotations which is always pleasing)

Thanks Haven, that was quite a challenge but I enjoyed what I could do. Favourite clues were 9a, 10a, 5d and 6d.
