Absolutely brilliant theme, and well done fitting all the themers (and the other timely words!) in. Especially fond of 15a, 2d, 14d, 21d (excellent find!), and 24d (stupendous definition).

Thanks Magnolia, really enjoyed this one. Very well executed theme, mostly due to the excellent grid-fill but also some nice allusions in the surfaces. Particular favourite clues were 15a, 20a, 30a, 8d, 21d (very satisfying anagram) and 24d.

Superb! 14d my favourite, but loads of others too.
