Cryptic crossword No 533

A word-wrangler indeed, Chill, and, if this is you first puzzle - it's certainly your first visit here - then congratulations and welcome to MyC. A privilege to make the first comment. Some really good ideas and some good execution in here. 12a is excellent, 22a is another good one, as is 15d. I like 8d, 5d is solid and 25a made me laugh. well done on your debut, if that's what it is and I look forward to seeing more. A couple of small suggestions in Reply with spoilers. Thanks. PM

Well done, Chill - not bad for a first attempt. My faves were 8a, 22a, 15d. Some clues could do with a bit of a polish, as PM observes, but that all comes with practice so keep at it.
