Cheers Nordloc! Well, I needed your annotations to explain the parsing of 9a, 29a and 7d ... but on the other hand I liked 3d, 4d, 6d, 8d and 15d a lot! 4d especially was a really good surface. :-)

Enjoyed this, a very good debut! Some nice surfaces, of which 6d is my favourite even though it kind of doesn't make sense - just for the odd poetry and economy of it! And 5d for the lols :)

Thanks for this puzzle Nordloc. I can’t quite believe it’s your first as it’s so impressive. For me 6d in particular is a very special clue for its incredibly elegant construction. Well done!
