Cryptic crossword No 644

Many thanks ozof - another real head-scratcher with lots to enjoy. Amongst lots of good tricky clues my favourites were: 6a, 10a, 11a, 25a, 28a, 3d (nice to have a relatively straightforward one in there!), 4d/22a, 5d, 8d, 14d, 23d and 24d (admit I needed some help with this one). Struggling to parse a few, so annotations would be great if possible. Spoilers follow ...
