Thanks Amoeba, plenty to enjoy here - started off quickly, but things got decidedly trickier and finally ground to a halt in the SW - a letter reveal there got me over the line. Favourites 13a 13d, 14a, 26a, 3d (COYS), 4d, 19d & 23d. Spoilers ...

Nice one, Amoeba. Quite tight cluing and it all seems pretty solid. Favourites include 10a (simple but nice), 17a (once I'd twigged), 20a (good assembly), 6d (neat), 7d, 8d, 19d (all lol), 24d (once I'd twigged the def). Spoilers in Reply. Thanks. PM

Nice crossword, tricky in parts, not helped by my complete and utter ignorance of the theme. Favourite clues were 14a, 5d, 7d, 15d and 16d. Less keen on...(spoilers)

Late to this but glad I got to it, great fun. It took me half the puzzle to spot the theme, despite the SI…! But I did spot it early enough for it to help in the second half, so I’m calling that a win. Lots of smart clues but I particularly liked 12a, 21a and 27d. I do agree with the outrageous obscurity of 24a though! I thought I was a typography geek and have never heard that term… Great work, thanks.

Loved the thematic penny drop here, Amoeba - thanks for a fun puzzle! I particularly liked 10a (neat), 20a (nice construction), 1d (neat), 6d (very neat), 24a (clean) and 25d (neat). Good stuff :)
