Ooh la la, Henri, formidable! Favourites 10a, 22a, 1d, 4d, 17d & 21d. Spoilers ...

Merci Henri, très bien! Loved 8a, 18a, 1d and 14d, and only really stumped by 9a (which I'm kicking myself over) and 24a (à la Fez). Encore!

Very nicely put together, Henri. Not easy to carry the theme through every clue and you've used it in a nice variety of ways. Hardly any repetition at all. Lots of clues I liked: I'd highlight 10a, 18a, 22a, 23a, 1d, 5d, 6d, 14d, 21d. Chapeau.

Oh-hoh-hoh - genial! That was even more fun than I'd hoped - lovely variety of thematic implementations, some terrific surfaces and a great challenge all round. Favourites were 9a (neat), 10a (nice construction), 11a (likewise), 15a (likewise), 22a (fun), 23a (nice), 2d (nice), 3d (satisfying construction), 4d (likewise), 7d (likewise), 14d (fun surface) and 21d (nice) - top stuff Henri!

Very enjoyable, Henri, well done. The theme is the star - a treat for those of us fluent in Franglais and always pleased to show it.
