Thanks Potoroo - as expected, plenty of Chambers / Googling required, but all very fairly (dare I say straightforwardly?!) clued & very enjoyable. Lots of favourites including 1a, 9a, 14a, 19a, 20a, 27a, 29a, 1d, 13d, 15d, 16d, 21d & 23d. Thanks again!

Not quite as horrific as I expected it to be. As Fez says, clearly clued so even some of the truly obscure words were gettable. And some others were truly obscure but I happened to know them. Well done. 4a, 10a, 19a, 28a, 2d, 7d, 13d and 25d. So glad you chose to clue 8d in the way you did (😉). Thanks. PM

Thanks Potoroo. Some good fun in there, but I needed help to get the last few, some due to spelling differences with what I've seen before but others just my limited knowledge or familiarity with terminology in certain areas. I particularly enjoyed 10a (fun), 17a (clever), 6d (fun), 13d (smooth surface), 27a (ditto), 16d (fun) among others.
