Jumbo crossword No 14

On my quest to do all the jumbos, I've belatedly made it here. Pick of the bunch for me were 53a (had a little debate with myself about "starters" that just made me like the clue more), 54a (for the "endow" that took a hot minute), 55a (lovely def!), 3d ("well into play" tickled me), 7d, 10d (with an imagined apostrophe, anyway), 28d ("distressed porridge sampler"!!!), 45d & 47d ("wannabe exec", ha!) - and that's not mentioning the many long thematics you managed to squeeze in! Some quibbles...
