Udderly ridiculous. Very you. And highly enjoyable. Hard to choose a favourite clue - perhaps 3d - but my favourite aspect of the whole thing was that it does indeed have exactly twenty-eight clues.

Fun to solve and almost as fun to read the annotations afterwards, a clue-writing clinic if one wants it. I’m only unsure about ‘maid’ in 11d. A few faves: 1a, 2a (&lit?), 4d, 8d, and nearly all of the rest. Great job, thanks
