Haha, that was magnificent! A wish-I'd-thought-of-it idea, and nicely executed too 😁 My approach was to get one short clue per quadrant then look at the circular clues to fill in the rest, and this mostly worked 😆

Oh that's so clever! Didn't get them all -rather a lot of NHOs, only some of which I got from wordplay. Especially liked 11a,2d,3d,9d. 6a brilliant (although I didn't get it)

Very silly and fun. A bit reminiscent of your Circles of Hell puzzle.

Watched Liari solve this and, like Catnip, I was immediately put in mind of that earlier puzzle of yours. There are a few more rings out there, based on some quick code, but I think you've pegged the good ones! Nicely done!
