My only feedback is that in 1D, there needs to be at least letter before lab so that "labrev" is fully hidden, so it'll be something like "...slab? revolutionary..." Other than that, excellent crossword! I have a hard time believing this is your first

Agree with the first comment, this is great for a first go! I thought 3d was very neat. Full stops at the ends of clues sometimes irk me but that's just a stylistic thing. Hope to see more from you in the future!
