Oh very clever! Fave clue is 5a- lovely bit of misdirection leading to an NHO that was fun to delve into. 4d a brilliant combination of fun surface with neat definition - loved it!

Thanks Henri, great concept and lovely puzzle. Kateh's summed it up perfectly! Happy to admit 5a NHO for me too, and fell into the misdirection trap for a while.
