The first puzzle was successful -- admittedly it scared off a few who realised immediately they weren't "crossword people", but a few got quite into it and I have a few new signups from pupils telling their friends. Anyway, this week I will introduce homophones, reversals, and containers, so expect a good few of them! I haven't talked about abbreviations yet (not sure how to break it to them that "posh" means "u") so doing containers is actually tough, and I did use one abbr.

So annoyed about the letter count on 23a. Any feedback and suggestions always welcome -- several were incorporated into the first one.

Hope it goes down well with your club Dyno. There's quite a lot of clever wordplay in your clues, providing the addictive elements we're all hooked on in this community. A good blend of (hopefully) familiar devices introduced previously and the new ones you're now unveiling. Some more detailed spoilery comments in reply.

Really fun puzzle – enjoyed the last one, too. Hope the club goes well and looking forward to the next one!

Nice puzzle, well pitched. Hope it went/goes well. Very good fun for the grown ups too! A couple of general observations with spoilers…
