Thanks Mallimack. That was fun overall, although some NHO clues defeated me. I definitely preferred the simpler, more concise clues like 1a, 10a, 23a, 16d, 18d. Spoilers ...

Thanks Mallimack. I cracked this eventually in two separate passes, with a bit of head scratching over some of the more convoluted clues and somewhat obscure references (I know, I should talk...) Particularly appreciated 22a, 23a, 1d, 15d, 16d among others. No spoiler to mention the typo in the clue for 14d - 'restrospect' sounds like it should mean something meditative perhaps; I like it!
