Quick crossword No 192

A quick word of thanks to everyone who commented and offered advice on my first one. I've taken some time to do this one and hope it is an improvement. I have certainly found there is a "mindset" for writing crossword clues and it is not always present. I hope you enjoy it and as always all criticism is welcome. //Disco.

Well done keeping it up Disco; you’re right that the mindset is an elusive beast, but that’s half the fun. I particularly enjoyed 1a, 22a, 23a, 2d, 6d, 13d & 19d here and found the puzzle overall sound with a good variety of cryptic devices. A bit more detailed discussion in reply, spoilers…
