Quick crossword No 333

The Guardian's "Quick cryptic" crosswords have long been a favorite, especially when I share puzzles with my kids and my students. I've really enjoyed the QC setters, including Carpathian, Picaroon, Pasquale, and the highly recommended Dice. Thank you for playing and/or sharing with an up-and-coming solver.

Much fun. Faves: 17a, 3d, 14d. I see you kept 13a [most of 14d :) ] after the Bsky thread.

All good but 19a is tougher than any GQC clue that I have seen

Thanks tpg, that was a ton of fun with my favourites being 16a, 17a, 5d, 6d, and 14d. I'm a bit mystified by the elaborate SI --- but no harm, no foul 😆
