Thanks Pyewacket, good stuff. Faves include 9a, 10a (I *think* "floating" works!), 15a, 24a, 25a, 1d, 4d & 14d (a single word in Chambers ... not sure which of your answers is the non-Chambers one though?) Spoilers ...

I thought this was very good. And quite tricky. Some of your shorter clues in particular and I was bested by 14d where I did not recognise either definition. (I'm not 100% convinced by the second which is pretty vague tbh) But that does not detract from some other very neat clues inc 10a, 12a, 11a (ha ha), 26a, 1d, 6d, 18d, 20d and 23d. Thanks. PM

Very good Pyewacket, thanks. A little too difficult for me if I’m honest but lots to enjoy and admire. An observation and one tiny quibble in the reply. Favourites: 10a, 13a, 15a, 6d and 20d. Spoilers …

Quite a challenge with many that only yielded to long thought. Fave was 4d, I also liked 8a, 10a, 15a, 26a and 1d, 16d & 18d (neat surface!)
