First of yours I have done JI so welcome to the site. An enjoyable puzzle with plenty of good ideas. 25a is an excellent clue - COTD for me. I also enjoyed 11a, 14a, 21a (podium), 27a (EM or QM alone would have worked for me), 16d, 20d (ho ho) and 22d (podium). Thanks. PM
