That was great fun thanks Gennaro. My favourite was 20D. I had to reveal 7D though it was totally fair, I just couldn't quite get there. 10d took me a while...

Always a good time! COTD for me was 25a. Other faves: 5a, 12a,18a and 2d, 3d, 15d. Nina was helpful quite early (before the hint)

Thanks Gennaro, that was a very enjoyable well-constructed puzzle, which flowed nicely on the solve, and as always with a little extra message thrown in. 18A, 1D, 14D my favourites. 23a readily solved but took me a while to work out exactly why! Not sure I've seen that device used before.

Thanks, Gennaro. I just checked the comments, and it seems that many others enjoyed this as much as I did. You have a way of hitting the sweet spot and making it look easy; does setting indeed come easily for you? Lots of favs: I like 12a but wonder if 'without' is doing too much work. I also really like the technique in 14d; 25a, 23a (I enjoyed the struggle of parsing the first third), 7d (got a kick out of that), 20d, and great def in 18a. Thank you.
