Cryptic crossword No 2,976

Terrific fun. 15a is wonderful, also loved 19a, 4d, 14d, 16d, 18d, 20d. NHO 3d but as usual I need more UK GK. Thanks a lot!

Very enjoyable puzzle, thanks SwanseaJack. 15a is riotous! 4d also up there for me, and I love the definition for 13a. Other standouts were 19a, 7d, 14d. One very small quibble in reply.

Tough but fun! Many many very clever clues, especially liked 12a (very neat), 13a (audacious!) and of course 15a. Liked the juxtaposition of 22a and 25a. 4d (COTD, I kicked myself that it didn't jump out at me), 16d,23d. A very happy Christmas and many thanks for hours of enjoyment this year
