Welcome to MyCrossword! I see great potential in here, favs are 9A and 4D. There are some improvements that can be made to make the cryptic grammar tighter, I'll leave some feedback in reply!

Thanks Psycho. I thought this was good for a first attempt and I thought your surfaces were quite readable, something new setters often have trouble with. My top picks were 9a, 2d, 6d, and 18d. I agree with someguy's feedback, however, about tightening up the cryptic grammar. Check out clueclinic.com -- it's an invaluable resource. I would also recommend the Chambers dictionary app as well as reading Don Manley's Chambers Crossword Manual. Good luck.
