Nice one Abdul (and Lowdown!) Some great clues here, including 11a, 23a (the ‘energy’ could have been ambiguous but common sense prevailed), 24a, 27a, 4d, 7d (I liked the professor!) and 12d. I was beaten by 2d but my failing not yours. A couple of your synonyms weren’t in Chambers but were in Collins; the one in 8d didn’t seem to be in either. Cheers!
